The best way to keep up with your work and not fall behind is to have a system in place to help you stay organized. If you are missing assignments in your classes, and you are starting to feel the pressure like you can't get caught up, we have a system to help you stay organized. All you have to do is follow the steps precisely.

It is common for students to say they do not get their work done because they cannot focus. There is plenty of time to get things back on the right track and here's where you cohort team can help. So here is what you need to do:

1. Check Synergy for missing assignments or zeros.
2. Use a "Missing Assignment" sheet for each class to prioritize these assignments. You may stop by the Freshman Academy to get "Missing Assignment" sheets or click on the link to print your own.
3. Do your current assignments first and then your missing assignments.
4. Your goal--two missing assignments per class each day.
5. Use your daily study schedule to help you focus and keep track of your time.
6. As you turn in a missing assignment, be sure to mark it off the Missing Assignment sheet.
7. Send your teacher a polite email to tell them the name of the assignment and the date you submitted it.
8. Contact Mr. Green for help.

As you may recall, when we delayed the start of the 20-21 school year due to COVID, we had to shorten our Spring Break from two weeks to one. Spring Break is scheduled for March 29th - April 2nd. School will resume on Monday, April 5th.

As a freshman, you might think that college is so far away that you do not have to worry about it right now. Or, you might even think that college is not for me. Either way you think about it, now is the best time to be considering college. By learning about what to expect from a college experience, you can get better prepared during the next three years of high school.

One way to learn more about what to expect is to hear it from the students themselves. Please read on...

This panel discussion will include students and College Alumni with a couple of our Warren Central High School Graduates. After the panel discussion we have a 30 minute break out session where you can meet the students and alumni one on one.

Mr. Massey and I have enjoyed meeting with our students the past few weeks as we discussed your grades and your schedule for next year. It was nice to learn more about you, your interests and your personalities. We look forward to the day when things get back to normal and we can spend even more time in getting to know you.

If you have not met with Mr. Massey or me to complete your sophomore schedule, please be sure to reach out to one of us by March 19 to schedule your meeting. If we have not met with you by Spring Break, your elective classes and your schedule will be chosen for you.

The 2021 Summer School session will be held from June 7th-June 30th and will be offered at no cost to current Warren Central students. Online registration has begun. Please be sure to sign up with a Warren Central student email account. Additional information has been sent to students and families and can be accessed Here . Summer school is a great opportunity to recover credits and work ahead in certain classes. Be sure to carefully review all information about this year’s summer school opportunities.

Just a reminder that our food distributions are on Tuesdays from 8:00 - 9:30 AM and 4:00 - 6:00 PM at Moorhead Community Resource Center.
