Presentation Board
Students can do a quick, focused research on a topic that is appropriate for class. Topics for my class include problem-solving strategies for technology or engineering, vocabulary, or find a quick video for an element or science concept we are studying. Students can also present this to the class.
Brainstorm Race
Find out what students know by having them add to a brainstorming list. Using digital mindmaps and brainstorming tools, students can add their questions and/or ideas.
Wonderopolis
Find information about most any topic on this website. Put this on the screen and have students read the information. You can even send this to students through Google Classroom or as a link on your class page to read and watch the video. You can even pose a question that relates to the article.
Review Games
Students can "Play" a review game, such as Ten Marks or iXL, to get them going for the class.
