Message from Principal Phelan
Dear Lowell,
I've been asked by a number of caregivers to send along a picture of myself all done up in pink! The students successfully raised $18,000. As promised, I would have pink hair for the day! Because we also achieved our top goal of $20,000, Mr. Chen will be duct taped to the wall. Lucky Mr. Chen, he needs to do this twice! Another tricky aspect is having two buildings.
Literacy Week was a BIG hit! So many fabulous things happened in such a short period of time. Below you will find pictures and a video that captures our fabulous five day journey.
Thank you to all the Teachers, Students, Caregivers, and Staff who made Literacy Week a huge success. Special shout out to Joia Kirby (Literacy Coach) and Kelly McCollum (Librarian) for organizing and spearheading this endeavor.
With gratitude,
Stacy
