A NOTE FROM THE PRINCIPAL
Thank you all for coming to our annual Thanksgiving Feast! It was a tremendous success. Our students were so happy to have their family and friends with them for lunch. Miss Anna and her crew, Miss Faye and Miss Nicole did an amazing job preparing a meal for so many people. Thank you as well to Mr. Nick for setting up the cafeteria, and Mrs. Caron for decorating and setting the tables. Watch Facebook and our webpage for event pictures, thanks to Mrs. Polizotto-official PES photographer! Finally, thanks go to Dr. Manuel, Mrs. Joseph, Mrs. Clark, Mrs. Craney, and Mrs. Burgess our fabulous Central Office serving crew, and to Chief Skroski and Officer Marco, who served as well. What a great community we have in Phippsburg!
Just a reminder that because of the shortened week and the Thanksgiving holiday, there will not be a log going home next week. Have a blessed and happy Thanksgiving!

DISCOVER THE NASA ACADEMY OF FUTURE SPACE EXPLORERS!
Developed in cooperation with NASA, the Academy of Future Space Explorers takes children on a voyage of discovery. With unique hands-on activities, amazing demonstrations and fun educational take-homes, this is an experience that is truly out of this world!

PTA NOTES
Thank you for the canned yam food drive donations; we collected 57 cans!
We are looking for homemade pie donations on Friday,
December 1st, until 4PM for the annual PTA Scholarship Holiday Craft Fair, taking place at PES Saturday, December 2nd, from 9AM-1PM.
We are accepting donations of small new or gently used items for the Holiday Store. Please place items in the collection box in the PES lobby.
Join us for our next meeting on Friday, December 1st, at 8:30AM in the Teachers Room. If you can't make it, but have something to add, please email phippsburgpta@gmail.com.

BATH PARKS & RECREATION DEPARTMENT
Visit http://www.bathrecreation.com/ for all the programs they offer for families in the RSU1 area; the latest are: Lost Valley Learn to Ski/Snowboard, Girls Gr. 3-4 and 5-6 Basketball, and a K-1 Basketball Clinic has been added to Tuesdays. Youth Basketball Coaches are Needed! If interested in coaching, please contact Dana at ddelahanty@cityofbath.com.
