MCAS is next week for some of our students and our mid-trimester grades will be published on Wednesday.

Job opportunity!
The AHS Career Specialist, Ms Hoff, is looking for seniors who are interested in studying or working in the education field after graduation. Here is Ms. Hoff's message; email her (lhoff@attleboroschools.com) ASAP if interested!
"I have an upcoming opportunity for Seniors who are interested in continuing on in the Education field. The program is called HSSIEP. Students would work at any of the area Attleboro Schools as Teachers Aide's. Students can be placed at Brennan Middle School, Studley or any other elementary school. Students can work up to 9 hours a week. I have a few more spots available... They would be placed in one of Attleboro Schools and can work a few hours after school. The pay is $15 hour.
What a student would need to fill out?
· W4, I-9, with a copy of their birth certificate and SS card.
· Seniors under 18 would also need working papers filled out
· Weekly timecards filled out and signed by assigned teacher. "
Air Force Virtual Visit and March ASVAB
Final reminder: Next Wednesday, February 7th, during AVA's morning Advisory with Mr Holmes, we will have Sergeant Gordon from the US Air Force virtually visit and speak a few minutes about joining and future possibilities. Any AVA student or family member may join that morning! Seniors and families: are you still confused about the new FAFSA and the financial aid process? The University of Hartford has published this recording from their faculty about the entire financial aid process with lots of helpful details.
