Dear Canby School District Families,
Today the Oregon Health Authority announced that the state indoor mask requirement for schools will be lifted on March 31. School districts will have the option to set their own mask protocols.
We will collaborate with the local health authority and staff to prepare for the change locally, and we will share more information as we process what this means for the Canby School District community.
Our goal is to provide a calm and caring environment for students to learn in-person, five days per week. We appreciate your partnership as staff and students continue to wear face coverings in school until any changes are put in place.
We recognize the ongoing complexity during these times and acknowledge that each of us will have a unique response to this news. We value collaboration with our school district community, and we will keep the lines of communication open.
