Students of the Week
Zoe Robinson is new to Bridgewater this year, but you wouldn't know it! From day one she has fit right in and has been a friend to all. Zoe starts each day with a warm smile and a kind greeting to everyone she encounters. She is extremely hard working and takes her academics seriously. Zoe is responsible, reliable and very creative. Her fun personality adds a lot to our classroom community and we are so happy she's here!
Dayton Knight is a strong performer on and off the ice/field. He is quiet, but don't underestimate all that he can accomplish at the hockey rink, on the baseball field and in the classroom. Dayton cares about doing his best and shows that everyday by getting his work done and pushing himself academically and physically. He has strong friendships because he's trustworthy, loyal and an all around fun kid to be around. We appreciate his internal motivation and how he leads by being a role model. Keep up the great work!

Stormwater Poster Contest-Grades 2-5
Clean River Partners (CRP) and the City of Northfield are proud to announce our Ninth Annual Stormwater Poster Contest!
In honor of Earth Month (April), we invite all youth in grades 2-5 who live in the City of Northfield to participate in our contest entitled, "Be the Solution to Stormwater Pollution." Posters are due by 4:00 pm on Monday, May 1st.
What is Stormwater?
Everything in our streets, sidewalks and even in our yards can end up in the Cannon River from leaves and litter to dog waste and the salt on our sidewalks. Your students can join youth across the city to make a poster highlighting what we can do to keep the Cannon River Clean!
Winners in each age group will be honored at a City Council meeting and have their posters on display for a year at Northfield City Hall. Prizes include free Frozen Custard and free admission to the Northfield Swimming Pool.
Attached below is a contest flyer (in both English and Spanish), a teacher information sheet, a poster tips sheet and a list of stormwater videos.
I've also created a short video you can play for your students. Here's the link: https://vimeo.com/manage/videos/697023437
