2021 Graduates

Graduation is coming up soon, so save the date! On the morning of Thursday, June 3rd, the ceremony will take place at the Glendale Civic Center. It will be a drive-through ceremony. Therefore, those with you in your vehicle will be part of the ceremony. Graduates, remember all your requirements must be completed by May 28th to participate. Please reach out to your coach for more information.

State Testing

We would like to thank all of our students who took their AzSCI or AzM2 tests. Testing runs from 3/22 through 5/14, so there were numerous students who tested and several more that will be.

Student Highlight: Jordyn L.

Jordyn is a Sophomore this year who has been enrolled with HHSO for a year now. We wanted to share her short video she created that showcases what it may feel like when experiencing anxiety. We understand that many people are going through various struggles, especially during this unprecedented time this past year, and Jordyn’s creative way of showcasing these emotions just brings to light everything that solidifies those feelings.

Happy May! The school year is almost over!


For those who are still in high school: are you taking the summer off, are you taking some classes, are you traveling somewhere or working a summer job? Whatever you decide to do, take some time for yourself. Refresh your mind and your body so that you can start the school year renewed! Everyone needs a break, whether it’s a few weeks or the entire summer.


For the graduates, make sure you are getting to the end of your classes and hopefully have a path you will follow after graduation. For those that don’t quite know what that path is, don’t worry. Sometimes we start one path and figure out another works better. The important thing is you learn from each path you take. For sure, enjoy your graduation day! Be proud, you have earned it!

Weird Arizona Laws

It is illegal to leave a fishing pole unattended.


It is illegal to swim in a public place while wearing a bathing suit.


It is illegal to walk through a hotel lobby while wearing spurs.


If any misdemeanor crime is committed while the perpetrator is wearing a red mask, it will be considered a felony.


If someone is caught stealing soap, they must wash themselves with it until it is fully gone.


Any restaurant that sells horse meat must have a warning label in green print on their menu.
