We are holding At-Promise Meetings during Independent Study time on November 2nd-13th. If you improve your GPA to a 2.0 or better, you will earn a Most Improved Award at the next Awards Assembly
Thank you leadership class for your Fun Friday Scholar Social last week! Stay tuned for more scholar social events.
College Apparel Day is Friday, November 20th. Wear your favorite college shirt, hoodie, jersey! Take a pic and send to Mrs. Evers-Threatt (Video Production/Yearbook) to be included on the web page.
2nd Quarter Progress Reports are being mailed out Friday, November 20th. All work must be turned in by November 13th.
November 1st was Dia De Los Muertos! Learn more about this holiday and participate in a virtual festival on the Oakland Unity Council’s interactive website.
We are planning Virtual College Campus Tours! Watch for more details coming soon.
We are holding mandatory Attendance/Truancy Parent webinars on Tuesday November 17th. If your parent needs to attend, your family will receive a letter.
As the weather gets colder outside, check out your Tiger Top Ten (Ways to Practice Wellness) Den and choose a couple ideas to try out! Tigers need time to stretch, take walks, groom, and get a good night's sleep. Your health is important.
8th Grade Scholars will begin the Transition to High School Curriculum during November. This curriculum includes 8 essential lessons to prepare you for 9th grade. More info to come.
2nd Quarter ends Friday, December 18th.

Advisory teachers are nominating scholars for recognition every month. Our next Scholar Recognition Assembly is on Wednesday, November 18th. If you are selected, we will include you in our presentation!
