The Counseling Department has a new website! Please check it out here to see what we are focusing on this year or to refer your student for counseling services at school.

Colorado House Bill 21-1258 established this temporary behavioral health services program to provide access to mental health and substance use disorder services for youth, including addressing needs that may have resulted from the COVID-19 pandemic. The program is open to youth 18 years of age or younger or 21 years of age or younger if receiving special education services. The program, called I Matter, is funded by the Colorado Department of Human Services, Office of Behavioral Health. The program provides up to 3 free behavioral health sessions for youth in Colorado and reimburses participating providers, which are licensed clinicians from agencies and independent contractors.

Report Cards will be available Thursday, November 18th, 2021

In an effort to go “green,” save money, and to expedite the delivery of student report cards, LEE will be distributing report cards digitally via the Infinite Campus Parent Portal.

If you already have an active account for any child in the District, you do not need to take any additional action.

If you do not already have an active account, please contact Marcy Todd at 720-652-8101.

Report cards may be accessed from any computer connected to the Internet by logging into Infinite Campus.

We are very excited to announce that Longmont Estates Elementary will once again participate, with other schools in the district, in our Annual Food Drive. In the past we have collected close to 40,000 pounds of food district wide and we hope to exceed that number this year. LEE's annual food drive is November 15th- December 15th. All the food collected will benefit Boulder County Community Food Share. There are many families in need in our area, and this food will benefit them. Please help out, if you can!!

As planning begins for the 2022-2023 school year, there are some important dates that are approaching that you need to put on your calendar:

• Preschool Registration: December 1st-December 15th: Submit applications. December 1 through December 15 is the period in which applications for enrollment should be submitted to the requested school. Registration continues after December 15th, but choice programs may be limited for the 2022-2023 school year. *Please note: students in preschool who will remain in preschool for the 2022-2023 school year, will need to reregister for preschool. Students in preschool who will be moving on to kindergarten for the 2022-2023 school year will need to register for kindergarten.*
• Kindergarten/1st-12th Grade Registration: December 1, 2021-December 15, 2021: Submit applications. December 1 through December 15 is the period in which applications for enrollment should be submitted to the requested school. *Please note: 5th grade students who are presently attending Longmont Estates under open enrollment are not guaranteed open enrollment in our feeder middle school (Westview Middle School). If you do not want to go to your neighborhood middle school, you will need to submit an online open enrollment form to the middle school you want to attend.*

To register for school, a new student must be:

• a resident of the District (proof of residency required) - if you are not a resident of our attendance area, please click here and refer to Open Enrollment
• between the ages of 5 and 18 years
• 5 years old on or before October 1, 2022 for Kindergarten or 6 years old on or before October 1, 2022 for First grade

The new student must have:

• A birth certificate
• Proof of address such as a utility bill
• Up-to-date immunization records or statement of exemption
• Evidence of a recent physical examination is requested for Preschool
• Name, address, and telephone number of last school attended

5th grade students who are presently attending Longmont Estates under open enrollment are not guaranteed open enrollment in our feeder middle school (Westview Middle School). Longmont Estates will be organizing our annual Giving Tree this year for our community. If you are needing help providing gifts for children this year, please stop by the office and pick up a gift request form. The information will be confidential. If you have older or younger children outside of LEE, please feel free to request additional gift forms. Please return forms to the office by Friday, December 3rd.

If you (or your child, with your permission) would like to select an ornament and purchase the items, please stop by the school starting the week of December 6th and take an ornament off the tree and sign it out at the front office. We request that all gifts be returned to the front office no later than NOON on Tuesday, December 14th. We ask that gifts be wrapped with the tag taped to the outside of the package. Thank you for your generous spirit!
