Panther Pride at NRHEG Elementary
Our Panther Pride Team implemented the Paw Patrol at the beginning of November! Our Paw Patrol exists of 4th and 5th grade students who applied to be a part of helping promote Panther Pride in our school. Currently the Paw Patrol assists our Bridges/Kindergarten and 1st grade students during lunch, the transition from lunch to recess, and at the beginning of recess. It is awesome to see our upper elementary students helping our primary students!
On December 3rd our Panther Pride Team oversaw our first school-wide behavior instruction of the year. We had 12 juniors and seniors spend the day with us reading Decibella, a book about a young girl who needs to learn how to use appropriate voice levels. Through what we learned in this book, NRHEG Elementary now has consistent and predictable voice level expectations across all school settings! A special thank you to Mrs. Krohn and our high school students for helping to make this a success!
