Need to Know Information
MAP Testing Continues This Week: Students in grades 3rd-6th grade will continue MAP testing this week! Please help us ensure your student gets a good night's rest each evening and a good, healthy breakfast each morning. MAP testing is the Missouri Assessment Program, which is one way the state measures our school's success. We have prepared all year for this test by teaching the state standards to our students! We are excited for them to show us what they know!
CSCO Baseball Coaches' Meeting: There will be a coaches' meeting on Thursday, April 27 (*corrected date) at 6 PM in the Preschool Commons Area. Shannon Cox will be letting you know if you have been selected as a coach or assistant coach before that date so you will know if you need to attend.
CSCO Princess Ball: Thank you to the volunteers who made the Princess Ball possible! A variety of volunteers set up, cleaned up, donated cookies, tea, lemonade, worked, provided dance lessons, etc. making the evening a success! As we all know, many hands make light work, so thank you for making Saturday a magical evening for the princesses who attended!
CSCO Pirate Showcase Practice: If your child signed up to perform in the Pirate Showcase, he/she will have a practice on Friday, April 28 from 3:30-5:00. Brittany Brosseau will be contacting participants to arrange times for practice!
Character Assembly: Our final Character Assembly of the Month will be held Friday, May 5, at 7:45 AM. We will recognize our students for the April character word Perseverance. Our May Character Students of the Month will be honored at the End of Year Awards Ceremonies on the last day of school.
Still Important...
Headphones Needed: Don't forget all students 3rd-6th grade need headphones this week! Kindergarten through 2nd grade students will need headphones by May 9. Headphones are used for end of year testing.
Staff Appreciation: Crane celebrates all staff the first week in May each year. That means, appreciation week is just around the corner. If you would like to know what your child's teacher(s) like, you can check out this spreadsheet of likes. The staff who completed the survey are included on this spreadsheet.
Stuff the Fridge: One of the ways, I would like to show staff appreciation from the community is from a "Stuff the Fridge" event where parents/community members bring in items to stock the staff fridge so the adults can help themselves throughout the month of May! Please see this sign up to see what is needed! Thank you for your support!
The Pirate Showcase: CSCO will be presenting the Pirate Showcase on Friday, May 12 at 7 PM in the Jr. High Gym. This is an opportunity for students and families to showoff any talent they may possess. We hope to see everyone come and support our students!
Kindergarten Graduation Date: Mark your calendars for our Kindergarten Graduation Ceremony which will be held on Thursday, May 18 at 6 PM. This ceremony will be held in the Crane High School Gym.
