Dear SST Sugar Land Learning Community,

I want to draw your attention to our mission, core values, and vision. Here at SST Sugar Land, we believe that every student has potential, and our teachers are there to help unleash that potential. When a student has completed their time at our school and entered adulthood, the student will not be judged by their test performance, but by the quality of their work and character. This doesn’t mean that our students’ academic success is not a priority, but rather our belief that academic success, high-quality work and character building go hand in hand. SST drives academic and socio-emotional development through a rigorous college preparatory, STEM-based learning model. SST's model is anchored on 21st-century skills, embraced by a character building approach, and delivered in an enriching, safe, and student-centered learning environment.

Students

• Demonstrate proficiency and deeper understanding: show mastery in a body of knowledge and skills within each discipline
• Apply their learning: transfer knowledge and skills to novel, meaningful tasks
