Williams Parent Bulletin
October 2022
We made it to the middle of trimester 1!
I'd like to take a moment to thank our Williams community for your participation in Back to School Night and for visiting with me during our first Coffee with the Principal (Cafecito con la Directora). It was a pleasure seeing our families visit our school and getting to know you a little better.
October will continue to be a busy month for Williams School. Students have been participating in reading, vocabulary, math and social-emotional screeners so we can become better informed of our students' areas of greatest need. This month also brings more schoolwide events like Custodian Appreciation Day, National Bullying Prevention Month, Red Ribbon Week, Fall Picture Day and the launch of more student clubs. Please see below for the special Bullying Prevention spirit week activities and Red Ribbon spirit week activities will be going out soon too.
We appreciate all of our team but this month, we'd like to especially express our gratitude to our wonderful custodian team! We'd like to thank Mr. Javier, Ms. Lupe and Mr. Roy for all the heart they put into taking care of our school.
We appreciate all of your hard work in supporting our Wildcats!!
Ms. Granado, School Principal

Bullying Prevention Month - Stop Bullying on the Spot
When adults respond quickly and consistently to bullying behavior they send the message that it is not acceptable. Research shows this can stop bullying behavior over time.
Parents, school staff, and other adults in the community can help kids prevent bullying by talking about it, building a safe school environment, and creating a community-wide bullying prevention strategy.
Please encourage your child to participate in this month's Bullying Prevention spirit week activities...check out the flyer below for more information.
