MESSAGE FROM THE ACTING HEAD OF SCHOOL
Team C.I.A.
Semper Fi!
I am honored to welcome all members of the Eagle Family to the second semester/term of the 2023 - 2024 school year.
I am filled with anticipation for the exciting journey that lies ahead. Together, let us build a culture of love and respect, nurturing an environment where our students can flourish.
I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude for the warm reception I received as the Acting Head of School.
It is a privilege to be part of such a vibrant and diverse community of learners.
As the year unfolds, we will support our students in developing the Approaches to Learning (ATL) skills that are vital for their academic achievement and future endeavors.
We invite you to team up with the school in fostering skills such as self-management, communication, collaboration, and critical thinking skills at home to create a seamless learning experience.
When parents and school collaborate, our students thrive. Let us work hand in hand to empower our students with the tools they need for a bright future.
Parental involvement is the foundation of a child's success.
Together, we can create a supportive environment that nurtures each student's potential. Your engagement, whether through communication, volunteering, or attending school events, plays a pivotal role in shaping a bright future for our students.
As a school, we are here to support you every step of the way.
If you ever have questions, concerns, or ideas, please reach out to us as we are happy to collaborate with you.
In the spirit of unity, let us make this year a great one for our school community.
Sincerely,
Mrs. Gifty Agbeshie
Acting Head of School

HAPPENINGS IN C.I.A.
The second graders marked the beginning of their unit on culture with the theme: "Beauty in Diversity". Facilitators were thrilled to lead a vibrant assembly that served as a unit provocation, where they dressed up to represent different cultures, which instilled a sense of curiosity and wholly demonstrated the theme, that indeed there is beauty in diversity.
Students in grade 4 designed the map of Ghana and types of angles to depict their unit on location.
Here are some healthy habit posters made by MYP 3 students to communicate their conceptual understanding of the unit, Le Bien-être (Well-being) in French.
UNIT PREVIEW WITH PARENTS (UPP)
The Unit Preview with Parents came off on January 15 to 18 for the Primary Years and January 15 to 19 for the Middle School. The event served as a vital platform for fostering collaboration and communication between facilitators and parents, aiming to enhance the overall educational experience for students. Parents were able to see a brief the knowledge students have acquired in class as well as a summary of what students will be studying for the next unit.
