Wisconsin Winter Weather Has Arrived!
The snow and cold is upon us! Recess is an important part of the day so here are a few cold weather reminders:
- If the temperature or wind chill is below zero, students will remain inside for recess.
- Please make sure your child(ren) have snow pants, boots, gloves and a hat every day. Please don't assume we will be indoors on snowy, cold days. If a student does not have snow pants or boots, they will remain on the blacktop during recess. Also, make sure all snow clothes are labeled with your child's name.
Clothes Needed in our Health Room
Our Health Room is looing for gently used clothing donations. They are in need of boys elastic waist/sweat pants and shirts (sizes 5-10). Thank you!

Stress and Anxiety in Youth
Presenter: David M. Jacobi, Ph.D., Lead Psychologist: Child and Adolescent CBT Services, Rogers Behavioral Health
This presentation will offer a comparison between the stress experienced by children and teens and clinically significant anxiety disorders. Further, interventions to manage each of these types of issues will be offered including a discussion of cognitive behavior therapy-based interventions such as thought challenging and exposure. We will discuss the role of family accommodation, how it impacts treatment interventions, and how families and others can pull back these accommodations to improve treatment outcomes.
