February 2022 Edition
Principal's Corner
I wanted to take a moment and talk to you about the academic progress our Maple students have made over the last five months. As many of you understand, the pandmeic has taken a toll on academics around the world over the last two years. The first year we lost a whole quarter of in person learning. The second year of the pandemic, the school day was shortened by two hours. This year our hours and instruction time was returned to normal. I would not call it a "normal" year, but at least the instructional time was somewhat normal.
Our teachers and staff have gone above and beyond for our students in their efforts to catch up our students academically. The students themselves have worked extremely hard and have given their best efforts in class this year. As a result, we have seen large growth gains in our benchmark assessments this year. I am so proud of our students, staff and families for their efforts this year!
Please see our graphs below for our outstanding progress. I am looking forward to seeing even more growth come our spring benchmark!!
