We are almost done with the 22-23 School year. Please read through this newsletter so you are up to date on all activities.

All students need to be registered online for the next school year.

•Parents need to go online to www.lcps.net to register students.

•You will need to login to parentvue in order to register your student/s.

•If you forgot your parentvue information, please call the front office at 575-527-9486 so we can reset your password.

•Our 5th grade promotion ceremony will be on Thursday, May 25th, 2023 from 9am to 10:30am.

•Students will need to be on time that morning so we can have a run through of the program before it starts.

•Balloons will not be allowed at the promotion ceremony as they are a distraction and block views for some families.

•All families will need to enter the building through the main front doors.

•All adults will need to sign in before entering the cafeteria.

•We will allow families into the cafeteria starting at 8:45am.

•We ask that families do not block the main corridor as we do have students arriving or leaving in the mornings.

•No se permitirán globos en la ceremonia de promoción ya que son una distracción y bloquean la vista de algunas familias.

•Todas las familias deberán ingresar a la escuela por las puertas principales.

•Todos los adultos deberán registrarse antes de entrar a la cafetería. •Permitiremos que las familias ingresen a la cafetería a partir de las 8:45 am.

•Pedimos que las familias no bloqueen el corredor principal ya que tenemos estudiantes que llegan o salen por las mañanas.

Our school will be administering the Measurable Results Assessment (MRA). This survey is designed to provide insights into the progress of our school. In order to provide a holistic picture of what is going on in our school, the MRA includes three different surveys; 1) one completed by all school staff, 2) one completed by students in grades 4 and 5, and 3) one completed by the families of students in all grades. We hope you will participate so we can use the feedback to make our school an even better place for students and families. If you have any questions about surveys or wish to see a list of questions, please let us know.

The survey will take about 5 minutes to complete. Answers are anonymous—so please be honest and open, no names or other identifying information will be collected.

We will be having two performances at 9am and at 1pm.

Tendremos dos presentaciones a las 9am y a la 1pm.

All students need to have a permission slip in order to participate. All students need to have a one piece swim attire or shorts and t-shirt. All students need to have a towel and extra change of clothes. This is only for students to attend. We will not have visitors on this day.

Todos los estudiantes necesitan tener una hoja de permiso para poder participar. Todos los estudiantes deben tener un traje de baño de una pieza o pantalones cortos y una camiseta. Todos los estudiantes necesitan tener una toalla y una muda extra de ropa. Esto es solo para que los estudiantes asistan. No tendremos visitas en este día.

We are still accepting applications for summer school. Our summer school dates will be June 12 - June 16... Even if your child's current teacher will not be teaching summer school, we still have openings. If you are interested, Please call the front office and we can send home an application with your child.

Todavía estamos aceptando solicitudes para la escuela de verano. Las fechas de nuestra escuela de verano serán del 12 al 16 de junio... Incluso si la maestra actual de su hijo/a no enseñará en la escuela de verano, todavía tenemos vacantes. Si está interesado, llame a la oficina principal y podemos enviar a casa una solicitud con su hijo.

Yearbooks are on sale for $15. If you would like to order one please visit the front office so we can help you fill out the form.
