Adventure Dash FUN FACTS & Weekly Update:

We are so excited to have Adventure Dash Fun Run at RJ Richey Elementary to help us reach our fundraising goals! Please check out the attached flyer to see what your student(s) learned today with our Adventure Dash Coaches!
This flyer will also let you know what challenges your child can complete overnight to earn awesome incentives this week!

Monday's Challenge:
Tonight’s overnight challenge is if you can donate $30 you will earn the PAINT THE COACH band! The PAINT THE COACH band will let you cover the AD Coaches in washable paint on DASH Day!

Adventure Dash is Here & Dash Day is Thursday!
Adventure Dash Fun Run Day: Thursday, November 9th
9:00-10:00: 4th grade Fun Run
11:00-12:00: 5th grade Fun Run
12:30-1:30: 3rd grade Fun Run
*Parents are welcome to join to cheer on your student on the Fun Run Field. All visitors will need to check-in at the front office to receive a visitor's pass to attend the event on the field.
*Please send your child with an extra change of clothes / and appropriate shoes for the fun run event!
Veterans Day Program Visitor Information:
- Veterans' Day visitor tickets will be sent home on November 6th in Take Home Folders for RJ families, parents, and visitors.
- Due to campus safety and security measures, these tickets must be brought on the day of the ceremony to the program to avoid sign-ins with IDs at the front office. Having these family tickets completed and brought in, allows our families to skip sign-in lines.
- Please read the details listed on your child's visitor ticket for more instructions.
- As a reminder, there will be designated seating area for families and veterans. All students will be seated with their classes for performances and will NOT be joining parents/visitors on the gym floor.
- All students will be dismissed to class after the ceremony. Any parent/visitor wishing to check their student out after the event must check the student out in the front office, with an ID, and be listed as an approved pickup in Skyward.
Honoring our October Top Dawg Students of the Month
These students consistently demonstrated the 7 Habits, had excellent attendance, and had great academic performance this past month and were honored by their teachers as Students of the Month and Top Dawgs of their classes!
They were treated to Starbucks Cake-Pops, Mojo's Kid Cups, and Gatti's Pizza and Game cards for modeling the Spirit, Pride, and Honor that it takes to be an RJ Richey Top Dawg!

As a reminder, be sure to check out the parent letter about our RJ Core Values and what Spirit, Pride, and Honor looks like in action with our Matrix that includes attendance and the 7 Habits in Leader in Me. You can help encourage your student and talk to them about the Core Values at home as well.
Each Six-Weeks, students have the option to earn more and more tickets for prizes of their choice!

What is a Staff Shout Out? A Shout Out is a special recognition that acknowledges a District staff member who has demonstrated a special effort, an outstanding job, caring customer service, a project of high quality workmanship, a team mentality, and/or is helping students CRAFT the FUTURE.
Who can submit a Staff Shout Out? Students, parents, teachers, auxiliary staff, coworkers, and all community members. Anyone can submit a Staff Shout Out!
Who can receive a Staff Shout Out? Any employee of Burnet CISD. EVERY staff member is an important part of our team!
