Final Husky Howler of SY 22-23
June 9, 2023
A Final Note From Mr. Evan Chelman, Principal
Dear Hill-Roberts Families,
Each morning on the announcements, we keep track of how many school days we've had. When we begin the year, "180" feels so far away! Like anything, when you come to the conclusion, often times it feels like it went by in the blink of eye. As we conclude the school year, take time to reflect on successes and fun times with your child. I want to take this opportunity to thank the students, staff, and families of HRES for their dedication and hard work.
My hope is that your summers are filled with relaxation, joy, books, family, and friends. It is a time to wind down and recharge. Next year will bring with it many changes. For our fourth graders, we wish you luck in middle school. For our incoming kindergarten students, we welcome you. There will be some new faces in the office and in the hallways, but what remains constant is the community.
A special fairwell goes to Mrs. Dugan, our Instructional Coach, and also to Mrs. Lavoie, a 21-year constant in the front office. Thank you for your dedication to the students of Hill-Roberts.
This will be the final Howler of the school year. I look forward to celebrating our fourth-graders this week and soaking in the last of this spectacular school year.
Respectfully,
Evan

Upcoming Important Information & Dates
THANK YOU!
We could not have had such a great year without our volunteers! We would like to sincerely thank everyone who helped with events, through donations of either time or items. Be sure to follow our Facebook page for information on volunteer opportunities for the fall at www.facebook.com/groups/hillrobertspto.
Open PTO Positions!
We are still in need of a Communications Secretary and Volunteer Coordinator as well as people to help with the yearbook, hospitality, and other programs. Remember: every parent or guardian of a Hill-Roberts student is automatically a member of the PTO, and the more people volunteer, the more we can do for the students!
