Principal's Update

Our students earned their first Fun Run Prize today! During lunch, they enjoyed music and free seating. We were having too much fun singing to take a picture…sorry!

We look forward to hosting families in the next couple of days for parent-teacher conferences. We know taking time away from work/other responsibilities is not always easy, so thank you in advance for your partnership. We know that when we work together to support our students, they thrive.

The Book Fair remains up and running through conferences - please stop by!

Wednesday November 1st is a half day for students. This is different from our usual early release, as students will be released at 11am. This is the first of two half-days this school year. The other one is on April 10th. During the second half of these days, our staff will engage in professional development. We will serve breakfast on these days; however no lunch will be served.

Too much candy leftover? Earn money for our school! During the month of November, we will have a collection bin in the office for any unwanted extra candy. Wilson Ortho will give money back to the school for each pound of candy collected, as well as a bonus if 50+ pounds are collected. Please see the flyer for more information.

Picture retakes are Tuesday, November 7th. If you would like your student to have their picture retaken, please return the original picture packet with them on Tuesday, to turn in to the photographer. If your student was absent and needs to have their picture taken, we have envelopes in the office. Let us know and we can send an envelope home with them, or they can be ordered online.
