All-State Band Members Perform at OKC

Congratulations to Grace Newhart, Chaz Edmonson, Ryan Duncan, and Grace Hahn for earning a spot in the Small School All-State band. They performed at Oklahoma City University this weekend with other high school students from around the state. Special congratulations to Grace Newhart and Chaz Edmonson for accomplishing this for the past three years.

AHS Swimmers Qualify for State

Ryleigh Wells and Jacob Perryman both recently competed in the regional swim meet in Jenks. Ryleigh was Regional Runner-up in the 50 freestyle and 100 breaststroke. Jacob won 1st place in both the 200 freestyle and the 100 backstroke. Both swimmers will compete at the state swim meet in Edmond on February 17th and 18th.

AHS Student Council Kindness Month

Student Council is promoting “Kindness Month”! Adair HS Student Council is spreading kindness throughout the student body through a variety of activities throughout the month of February!

BHE Fun With Question of the Day

Here at BHE, the bus riders who are in 1st, 2nd and 3rd grade get to participate in a "Question of the Day", each day at 3:15 while waiting in the commons area to board the buses. Mrs. Perryman, our new Speech Path, plays upbeat music while they filter in and find their bus lines. She then draws a name and the lucky winner gets to come up to the stage, tell us their grade/teacher and get asked a Core Curriculum question pertaining to either Math, Language Arts, Social Studies or Science. If they answer correctly, they win a crisp $1 bill. Sometimes, our contestants get stage fright and need to poll the audience, where there are plenty of willing students shouting out the answer! Mrs. Perryman would like to thank Mr. Doug Abbott and Mrs. Carla Lyons for donating to the cause.

STEM Summer Academy for Students

Oklahoma students have an amazing opportunity to experience life on a college campus this summer, both commuter and residential opportunities are available. Students can apply starting March 1st to be selected for these awesome hands-on, activity-packed academies. Please share the flyer in any messaging, social media, etc.

Senior Parents Fill out the FAFSA

The 2022-23 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA®) launched at 11:59 p.m. Eastern Time. New and returning students who plan to attend college between July 1, 2022, and June 30, 2023, should complete the FAFSA as soon as possible. To assist students and parents in the process, the Department’s Federal Student Aid (FSA) office has been sharing tips @FAFSA, including “7 Things You Need Before Filling Out the FAFSA Form” and “8 Steps to Completing the FAFSA Form.”
