Hello Oak Grove Community,

Did you know the Boys Cross Country Team went to state this past weekend? Are you attending the K-5 Reading Night on Wednesday from 6:30-7:30? If you didn’t see these updates to Oak Grove School’s Facebook page, you could be missing important information in your News Feed. Follow these simple directions to make sure you never miss another update!

Facebook gives users the ability to choose pages and friends that they want to see at the top of their News Feed. There are several ways to set this up, the easiest way is to go to the Oak Grove School Page on Facebook. If you have yet to ‘Like’ it, you can search the page in the Search Bar on the top of the screen. Once you are on the Oak Grove Page, find the drop down menu that says ‘Liked’ and select ‘See First’. This will allow any postings or updates to Oak Grove’s Facebook to go to the top of your News Feed any time you open your Facebook account.

Now you won’t miss a thing!

7th and 8th grade girls basketball tryouts will be Monday, October 24th and Tuesday, October 25th from 3:30 until 5:00 in the Pat Patt Gym. A current physical must be on file. An informational meeting will be held Wednesday, October 19 during lunch. Please attend if you are interested in trying out. If you have questions about tryouts, please contact Mr. Oesch at oesch@ogschool.org

Are you looking for part time work while your kids are in school? Want to have some giggles and be part of a great team? Oak Grove School is looking for two enthusiastic, part time lunchroom supervisors for the Elementary Cafeteria from 11am to 1pm. Please contact Rob Rendon at rendon@ogschool.org if you are interested!

Don't forget your order forms are due this Thursday, October 21st. All orders will be shipped directly to your home the week of November 14th.

Heinen’s Teaming up for Education: Heinen’s Grocery Store will donate 1% of qualifying purchases from Oak Grove participants. It’s easy to participate. Just sign up for their preferred card and enroll in their Tasteful Rewards program. This can be done in store or online at heinens.com. You then select Oak Grove School PTO as a school. Please make sure you use your rewards card every time you shop. Please note, you need to re-select the school every year.
