Mr. Brinks
Here's what the students say about him:
Mr. Brinks always has a funny story to tell when he comes into class and I always feel welcome to ask questions whether it's about his class or my college math classes. He helped make my senior year memorable in ways I couldn't even imagine, and I'll always have a reason to be thankful for him.
Mr. Brinks has been such a great teacher my final year. I have him for calculus and he does a great job at explaining the material and preparing us for the future.
I had Mr. Brinks for personal finance and I use to say hi every morning I walked in. His class taught me valuable things, I will be able to take with me in the future.
Hey Mr. Brinks! I love when we get side tracked in class and talk about different theories and cats :)
Hello Mr. Brinks, I very much appreciate all of the things that you taught us in class regarding life and the financial world. I am have not always paid good attention in class but I will definitely use some of the stuff that we learned in class in my future!
Mr. Brinks, Your class has been a little hard for me this year but it seems to be clicking for me more than other math classes ever have. I really enjoy getting to talk to you about marching band and getting to know you on a more personal level. I honestly thought I was going to hate your class at the beginning of the year but it’s turned out to be pretty fun. I think most of that has to do with you being a fun teacher!
Mr. Brinks makes sure that you always understand what is going on during math class. Even during these crazy times, he gives several ways to contact him in case we have any questions about the work or khan academy sessions that were given to us. He also makes sure to connect Pre-Calc to other courses such as Physics to make those clicks go in our head and continue furthering our education all around. The discussions we also have during the free time help my understanding of what is going on around me and gives me some laughs after a long school day.
Mr. Brinks: I really like being in the class too. It makes me sad because some seniors in that hour are disrespectful towards him, and he doesn’t deserve that. He has a passion for math and finance. He’s giving us amazing advice, and I enjoyed talking to him about drum corp and band.
I like mr brinks because he is probably one of the smartest people I have ever met and everyday he would tell us a new story about space or something I have no idea of and he always tried his best to make sure everyone understood everything
Mr. Brinks, I like how laid back he is and he never assigns too much homework!
Mr. Brinks is always willing to talk about and help with college and the future.
Mr. Brinks is my second hour teacher, we often veer off the path of learning to talk about worldly events and the future, which is my favorite part of the day, because then I can learn about the things that matter most for me.
