4th Grade Science with Mr. McIntosh
Looking Back –
We completed our study of animal behavior by exploring the traits and behavior of animals. Some of these are inherited from our parents or because of what makes us unique as a species. Other parts of our behavior are learned or are influenced by our environment.
Looking Ahead –
We are moving into Earth science with Unit 5 and a study of weather and the science of meteorology. Lesson 1 and 2 will give us a foundation to understand how temperature, water, and the Sun’s energy help create the diverse weather patterns that we see. What has your weather been like this week?
Weird science for the week – Penitentes are some very unusual natural formations that are found at high altitudes and low temperature. See what you can find out about them and what they look like.
