Redmen Review

On Thursday, upperclassmen spent the day at Lake Area Technical College and the National Guard Armory learning more about pathways after graduation. Colleges from across the region, military branches, and area businesses were all on hand to answer student questions and engage them in hands-on activities. Be sure to ask your student about what they learned!

Students in Spanish III taught their classmates how to make treats using commands and vocabulary entirely in Spanish. The results were "delicioso!"

Planning on going to college in South Dakota?

October 1st through November 30th is the Free College Access Campaign for the state of South Dakota. During this time, you can apply to any of the six board of regent universities or South Dakota technical schools for free! Also, a reminder that seniors are allowed two exempt days for college visits. Please work with Mrs. Filipek to get the proper paperwork for those days to be exempt!

Students in Mrs. Lehrke's Human Development class practice buckling their "infants" into car seats properly. Students will soon be learning more about how to safely care for children.

Stay caught up with your homework and grades by participating in Homework Help every Thursday in the SHS library from 3:30-5:00 pm. Come for a quiet space to work and extra support from teachers.
