- The question asks if we can deposit more of the total levy into our operating account instead of our debt service account.
- Breakdown as follows:
- Current-:

- Expense Fund 3 – Debt Service Local Tax Levy $1.1131

- Changes with YES vote
- Expense Fund 1 – Operating Fund Local Tax Levy $3.7008
- Expense Fund 3 – Debt Service Local Tax Levy $0.8631
- Total $4.563
- Estimated to move $200,000 to $250,000 from debt service fund to operating fund
- We will use this to pay for staffing
- This will be a continual source of revenue
- We will still have plenty of ability to continue with capital improvements
- You will see no difference on your tax statements
- Without this, the district will have less flexibility with our spending

Mrs. Brandy Bennett High School Art Class
Mrs. Bennett’s HS Advanced Art Class has been studying the sculptural work of renowned glass sculptor Dale Chihuly. Dale Chihuly is an American glass artist and entrepreneur. He is best known in the field of blown glass, his glass sculptures led to a resurgence of interest in that medium with large installations and chandeliers being displayed all over the world.
The advanced art students have been using the same basic technique of blowing glass as Chihuly would in his studio. Instead of using molten glass, they used melted hard candy and stainless steel straws to create their masterpieces.
Mrs. Kaisee Lovercamp, Outdoor Adventures
Students in Outdoor Adventures started the semester by learning about Archery. Students were able to label the parts of the bow and arrow, know the vocabulary in conjunction with the sport, practice shooting by playing scoring games and Tic-Tac-Toe, as well as compete in a class Archery Tournament. Our winner for the Archery Tournament was Preston H., who shot a 268 which was combined from 3 10m line rounds and 3 15m line rounds.
Recently, students are beginning their Angler Education Unit. Students are learning about fish species and the Missouri Fishing Regulations. Students had some hands on practice with casting a zebco Rod & Reel while trying to catch some of our Backyard Bass fish used for indoor practice.
