We will provide a new activity each day Monday through Friday during the unexpected school closure. Keep your mind active by completing each day's activity.

Start a streak! How many days in a row will you accomplish the daily activity for your level?

Constant (noun) - values that do not change either during or between experiments

Variable - (noun) - any factor, trait, or condition that can exist in differing amounts or types

Using one type of paper (constant), build three different paper airplanes (independent variable) and test to see how far they fly (dependent variable).

Choose 3 out of the 5 airplanes to make or create some of your own.

Predict which airplane you think will fly the farthest.

Select a starting point somewhere in your house or outside and throw the airplanes one at a time.

Measure and record how far they fly.

Repeat a few more times.

Optional: Make a graph of your data.
