Yesterday was National Custodial Workers Recognition Day and we want to give a huge Big East shout out to our head custodian, Ms. Marilyn Aponte. We are so incredibly grateful to have a head custodian who loves our students and teachers and takes pride in her work! Thank you for all that you do for our school!

Congratulations to Chelsea Rojas who was the winner of our weekly S.O.A.R. drawing. Students can receive SOAR tickets for being safe, taking ownership, being accepting of others, and being respectful. Chelsea got to pick a friend to have lunch with Mrs. Willis. Keep SOARing!

On Friday, September 30th we celebrated our staff members with September birthdays. Happy belated birthday to Mrs. Bingham, Mrs. Konchel and Mr. Dupre!

Hispanic Heritage Month runs from September 15th through October 15th. Mrs. Willis has recorded a few read alouds to celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month. Below is a link to one of them, called Queen of Tejano: Selena.

Our next PTO meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, October 4th in our East Fallowfield library.

Our PTO is having their annual Mum Sale to benefit our 5th grade promotion ceremony. Orders are due on Tuesday, October 11th and pick up will be Thursday, October 13th from 4:00-5:00 pm around the back of the building.

We are having our first Candy Gram sale of the year! Please see below for the order form and they will be going home with students this week.

Spirit Wear order forms will be coming home today. Be on the lookout to order your East Fallowfield Spirit Wear and remember that Spirit Wear items make great presents for birthdays and the upcoming holidays!

This year at East Fallowfield we are revamping our PBIS program and focusing on our Big East Expectations of Safety, Ownership, Acceptance and Respect. Last week, students had the opportunity to learn what these expectations look like, sound like, and feel like in different areas around the school including the classroom, cafeteria, playground, bus, hallway, and bathrooms.

Students are so excited to be rewarded for meeting these expectations with Class Dojo points. Parents please be sure to accept the Class Dojo invite from your child's teacher so you can track the great work they are doing in class.
