Please remember to complete your Student Information Update forms no later than October 15, 2023. The form will take approximately 2-3 minutes to complete, and can be accessed by logging in to your PowerSchool Parent Portal account from a PC, Mac, or Chromebook.

How to Access the Student Information Update Form:

• Log in to the PowerSchool Parent Portal from a PC, Mac, or Chromebook: Click Here

• If you are unsure of your password, use the "Forgot Username or Password?" link to reset it, or feel free to contact your child's school for assistance.

• In PowerSchool, select the "School Engage" button (scroll down to the last button on the left-hand side)

• In School Engage, click the Students tab, then select your child’s name.

• Look for the {formName} on the right-hand side of the screen.

• To open the form, click the blue, "Open" button under {formName}.

• After opening the form, navigate through the form by clicking the right arrow button on the top right of the form. Please fill in the mandatory fields highlighted in red and check or update other information shown on the form.

• Complete the process by clicking the Submit button at the bottom of the last page

Please feel free to contact the school if you have any questions or concerns regarding the form.

Today is the last day to ensure you download the new App from the App Store or Google Play Store and select your preferences to receive notifications.

The new App has improved speed and reliability. It will look and function the same as the current Bus Status app.

The Bus Status app currently installed on your phone will not update automatically to the new version of the app. You must go to the App Store or Google Play to download the new app to receive notifications after September 29.

Please be advised that we will be deleting our Twitter account based on the parent feedback we received in the spring. We will continue to post updates on our school's website, Facebook and Instagram pages.

The School Council held its Budget Meeting on Thursday, September 28th. VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITY: We are looking to fill the position of "Faith Rep". This is a low commitment, high fun position that mainly acts as a parent liaison between Council and the Teacher Faith Team. Please contact Stephanie Bugbee (eolrschoolcouncilchair@gmail.com) for more information if you might be interested in this position.

HOT LUNCH: Our first Hot Lunches of the year are ready to be ordered for October! ORDERS DUE OCTOBER 2! This is an optional program for families to participate in. All proceeds from Hot Lunch go to support our students' field trips (and more!).

FUNDRAISING: Our first fundraiser (and one of everyone's favourites) will be launched this month. Dieleman Fundraising Sales (DFS) offers a variety of gifts, kitchenware, wrapping paper, food, and more just in time for the holiday season. Please watch for your copy of the DFS catalogue coming home with your child on October 5th. Please share with your friends and family over the Thanksgiving weekend.

Our Lady of the Assumption Parish would like to ensure that our parishioners' registration information is up to date and that all parishioners are registered. Registering will keep you up to date on current happenings. You will also be eligible to vote on anything in the parish that requires a vote. Later in the fall there will be a presentation on the possibility of a new church and at some time there will be a vote. Only those registered will be able to vote."
