Hello Hillside!

I wear a mask when I go to the grocery store or to the pharmacy. I sometimes wear a mask outside if I know I may be coming into close contact with people and will be less than six feet away.

Do you wear a mask?

Masks are one way we can protect ourselves and others from spreading germs. We have all been practicing physical distancing by staying home from school. We are all doing our part to work together to slow down the virus from spreading.

The CDC (Centers for Disease Control) recommends that children older than two years old wear a mask or face covering when out in public. You can help by decorating or making your own mask. It is very important to not touch your face or your mask while you are wearing it.

Thank you for all your hard work and for doing your part! We are all in this together!

Dr. Dries, our school psychologist, will host her final weekly Zoom check-in for Hillside School students this Wednesday at noon.

We're getting closer and closer to the end of the school year! Students, staff, and parents have been working hard for the past few months as we have been learning remotely. All of the teachers and staff are so grateful for the marvelous work that our Hillside families have done!

As we transition to summer, make sure that you all find time for self care. We need to thank our minds and bodies for working so hard during this time. Find a quiet time just for you to do something to help focus and relax. Coloring, listening to music, reading a book, or doing yoga are some fun ideas to help us take care of ourselves.

Consider taking a trip to Belize with Calypso the Flamingo for a BIG beach party!
