From the Principal's Desk
February 22, 2021
Greetings FWAFA Family,
I just want to say thank you to all of our students and families for your patience and flexibility last week as we navigated the winter weather; and subsequently, the moving around of events that we had scheduled. Please take note that Student Council's Mardi Gras Madness Mixer that was scheduled for this Friday is being postponed to sometime in March, and Picture Day Make-Ups have moved to tomorrow. See more details in the newsletter.
As we welcome back more students to In-School Learning with the beginning of this six weeks, please be mindful of our TCA+A Six Core Health Practices:
- Symptom Screening for Students, Staff, Visitors
- 100% Compliance of Face Coverings
- Vigilant Hand Washing and Sanitizing
- In-Class Procedures that Maximize Social Distancing
- Limited Use of Shared Objects
- Frequent Disinfection of High Touch Areas
By working together and complying to these practices, we can slow the spread.
You know we have a passion for FWAFA uniform fashion, and it makes me one proud Principal to walk the halls and see everyone looking FWAFA Fabulous! I'm giving a BIG shoutout to all of our students. They have really risen to the challenge of adhering to the dress code. Great work, FWAFAns!
Lastly, I want to also recognize 10th grader Kara Salem. She has taken on the role of Principal Newsletter Graphic Designer and is adding some pizzazz to our weekly communication. Her work is featured this week on the Talent Show graphic. Check it out!
Creatively yours,
Dr. Jackson
