Principal's Message
Dear Niton Central School Community,
I hope you all had a restful long weekend! My family took the opportunity to break the camper out for its first run of the year and were glad to have great weather the whole weekend! Last Friday our teachers took part in professional development and worked collaboratively on assessing our division screening tools!
It's been a very busy time at NCS! On May 10th, our Drama Class offered a fantastic performance of The Day the Internet Died They did a superb job, and it was awesome to welcome members of the community into our school! Donations topped $270 and will go to support the drama program! The fundraiser BBQ was also a huge success, and we'd like to thank the NCFS for hosting that event!
Also on May 10th, our JK and Kindergarten class took a field trip to the Niton Fire Hall! Be sure to check out the pictures below! On the subject of Kindergarten, Mrs. Robinson is hosting a Kindergarten Open House from 1:00 - 2:00 PM on May 31st for parents and new students to come see the program. Check out the poster below!
Big thanks go out to Miranda and Steve Morden for their donation of an air hockey table to the Jr. High Student Lounge. Students have been enjoying this new addition! Thanks also go to It's Peersonal for their donation matching Tanner's to our Rotary Park Field Trip!
Have a great week!
