BOYS
In a thrilling season finale, the St. Mary 10U team battled hard in a nail-biting championship game but fell just short, losing 40-39 to St. Antony. The loss ended an impressive season at 9-1, marking a campaign filled with standout performances.
Throughout the season, St. Mary 10U displayed a high level of determination and skill. Their 9-1 record is a testament to their consistent effort, teamwork, and passion on the court. Game after game, the team built momentum, executing strong defensive plays and finding success on offense, setting the stage for a championship showdown.
With the score locked closely and both teams trading baskets, the tension in the gym was palpable. St. Mary’s players fought for every rebound and contested every shot, but in the final moments, St. Antony managed to edge ahead, clinching the victory by a single point.
Although the outcome was heartbreaking for the players, parents, and coaches this championship game will serve as a learning experience and motivation for future seasons.
