Off to an Amazing Start!
In September, our 3rd grade students got the amazing chance to go visit hatcheries in the area and get hands on engagement and learning around their salmon unit. This month, 4th and 5th grade will have the opportunity to learn on the Seattle Children's Science Adventure Lab that will be visiting our school. 2nd and 3rd grade will have the Fire Department visit to teach them about Fire Safety and Prevention. Our Transitional Kindergarten students and Kindergarteners will be able to visit a pumpkin patch for a field trip, learning about life cycles. Teachers will be sending home information regarding the science adventure bus and the field trips and we would love if you're able to volunteer and join your students on the field trips.
We will have our first Gotcha' Assembly this year, students from each class will be drawn and invited to eat lunch and a "dessert" with the principal. We will also continue to have and celebrate our weekly Gotcha' winners.
If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to me at anytime.
Thanks!

Message from Our Title/LAP Program
Hello Gray Wolf Families,
What an amazing start to our school year! Our LAP/Title team is lucky to be able to assist in the classrooms during September and connect with so many students. One of our September tasks is to conduct grade-level appropriate reading assessments that help guide reading placement and identify students that need extra support. In partnership with classroom teachers, we have identified students that we feel would benefit from LAP/Title services and will be sending information packets home with those students. If you receive a folder, please review and send the qualification letter and compact back to school and give it to your child’s homeroom teacher.
If you have questions, please feel free to contact me. Our team is excited to be part of all the amazing things your child will accomplish this year!
