Approve May 4, 2024 General Election judges and workers
By written order, a board shall appoint a presiding election judge and an alternate presiding judge for each election precinct in which an election is held. A board shall prescribe the maximum number of clerks each presiding judge may appoint for each election. The judges and clerks shall be selected and serve in accordance with Election Code Chapter 32. Approve 2024-2025 Instructional Calendar
Approve Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP) for Package #1 Pecos High School
In May 2023, the PBTISD community approved the passing of a bond to bring a new CMS and PHS. The projects have been in development since spring 2023. As part of the phasing of the construction for these facilities, Package #1 is the demolition work and work needed to support the portables that will be in place during construction. This package includes the work needed to support the academic and athletic portables for Pecos High School.

Consider and possible action to approve Student Outcome Goal Progress Measure 1.1, 1.2, and 1.3 (K-2 Early Literacy / Reading MAP-Growth)

Student Outcome Goal 1: The percentage of 3rd grade students who score meets grade level or
above on STAAR Reading will increase from 32% to 52% by August 2027. (2024 Goal = 40%)
- Goal Progress Measure 1.1: The percentage of Kindergarten students who score at the “Average” level or above on the end-of-year Reading NWEA MAP-Growth will increase from 62% to 82% by June 2027. (June 2024 Goal = 70%)
- Goal Progress Measure 1.2: The percentage of 1st Grade students who score at the “Average” level or above on the end-of-year Reading NWEA MAP-Growth will increase from 47% to 67% by June 2027. (June 2024 Goal = 55%)
- Goal Progress Measure 1.3: The percentage of 2nd Grade students who score at the “Average” level or above on the end-of-year Reading NWEA MAP-Growth will increase from 59% to 79% by June 2027. (June 2024 Goal = 67%)
Consider and possible action to approve Superintendent Constraint Progress Measure 4A
Approved 4-0
Superintendent Constraint 4A: Campus leaders will engage in PowerWalks/Instructional Coaching with teachers, increasing from an average of less than 1 per core teacher in May 2023 to 2 per core teacher in May 2025.

Approved 4-0
Board Constraint #3: The board shall not make decisions based on adult conveniences over student needs.
