Reminder: Athletic Physicals
All rising 7th, 9th, and 11th grade student athletes need to have a physical on file before they participate in practices or games.
High school volleyball and football start on August 1. Those student-athletes need to complete their physical before then.
Download the Physical Evaluation here:

Alpine ISD Pay Raises for Paraprofessionals and Support Staff
At the July School Board meeting, the Alpine ISD Board of Trustees adopted a budget for the 2022-23 school year that includes a significant pay raise for paraprofessionals and support staff in the district. This includes custodians, maintenance workers, groundskeepers, cafeteria workers, instructional paraprofessionals (aides), administrative assistants, and attendance clerks. Employees in these roles will receive a $3,000-$5,800 raise. The exact raise amount is determined based on an employee's role and number of contracted days.
This raise is a critical element of our long-range plans to continue to improve salaries across Alpine ISD.
Our work in this area is not done. We know we have work to do to increase salaries for all Alpine ISD employees not included in this current raise. Increasing salary schedules for all positions is a critical goal of ours over the next two years.
Special thanks to our School Board for their support of this pay raise! We are so grateful for the continual support and leadership they bring to our district.
