Car Rider and Walker Tags
If your child will be a car rider or walker on any given day this year, you will need a car/walker tag for each student. Car/Walker tags are by grade and issued every year. Please get as many as you will need for family members that will be picking them up. Also, please throw away all tags from last school year.
Car tags are available in the front office Monday-Friday 7-4 pm. We will also have them available during Orientation Nights and Meet and Greet Teacher Night on Thursday, August 11th from 5:00-7:30 pm.
If a vehicle does not have a car tag and is in the car line to pick up a student, they will be asked to park and come into the front office with identification to get a car tag. This is for the safety of the student.
Important Bus Rider Information
If you would like your student(s) to ride the bus this year, you must complete the transportation registration form found in the PowerSchool Parent Portal.
If you have already created a Parent Portal account, skip to Step 2 ( https://lexington1.powerschool.com/public). If you do not already have a Parent Portal account, contact Shelley Lauth at (803) 821-0104 for assistance.
You must complete a form for each child if you have more than one student. All forms need to be completed by Wednesday, August 10th in order to ride the bus on the first day of school. It takes up to 3 days in order to process bus transportation requests.
Parents will be able to see their child's bus number on Monday, August 8th in PowerSchool Parent Portal.
If your transportation needs changing, or if you move, please log into Parent Portal and make this change. Also, please call the school at (803) 821-0100 to make them aware of transportation changes.

Want to load money on your student’s lunch account? Here is how!
Lexington District One is moving soon to a new vendor called Titan, which will handle your student’s meal account. But for the next few weeks, you may continue to visit www.k12paymentcenter.com/ to upload money to your student’s meal account. Your meal account balance will transfer to the new system before the first day of school. We appreciate your patience as we work to change vendors
