Help GFTC Fund the Fun!
Students/families will receive a goal sheet and envelope to ask for donations/sponsor to participate in this event which takes place during school on Wednesday, October 20.
Cash and checks, may out to Grewenow & Family Teacher Community, can be turned in by October 15th.
Even more information, including student and class prizes, will come next week!
"Socktober" Sock Drive to support Shalom
Socktober: We will be collecting new socks for the Shalom Center all month!
Red Ribbon Week 2021
Kenosha County's annual Red Ribbon Campaign for the month of October promotes living a life "drug free." In order to raise awareness in our school, each day the week of October 11th will feature a spiritwear theme. Those themese are shared below
Monday October 11TH: Be a superhero and say no to drugs!
Wear a superhero shirt and/or cape
Tuesday October 12th: We will not fall for drugs!
Dress like a lumberjack
Wednesday October 13th: Peace out to drugs!
Wear peace signs and/or tie dye
Thursday October 14th: Drugs can’t find me!
Wear camouflage
Friday October 15th: Team up against drugs!
Wear your favorite sports team
Parent (Family) Teacher Conferences
Fall parent teacher conferences are virtual this year and will take place October 20 - 22.
- Scheduling will be done exclusively through the application Calendly. Please click this link to access your teacher's availability
- Families with multiple children must coordinate times that work with their family’s schedule.
- Appointments are 15 minutes. Families may only sign up for 1 appointment.
- When signing up, families should use their STUDENT’s NAME but the GUARDIAN EMAIL address.
- Each family will receive their own unique meeting link for each of their child(ren).
- Families can contact their child's teacher with questions or if any other accommodations needed.
There is no school on Friday, October 22 because of morning conference times.
School Arrival & Dismissal
Student Masks
Please make sure your child arrives at school with a well-fitting mask. Masks are still required at all times in the building per the Better Together plan unless students are eating. Faceshields can be worn with a mask, but not in place of the mask.
If your child has a ADA medical exemption, the office needs a note signed by a medical doctor on file.

If you have questions about how any items in this plan might look like specifically Grewenow, please contact the office at 359-6362. Note: the district K-5 virtual learning program is not held at Grewenow.
