Hello South Families!

I hope you all have enjoyed the first two weeks of school! We have had a great opening here. We celebrated our stars last Friday, we have had grade level meetings and discussed expectations, we have learned all of the routines in the school, and we have gotten to know each other!

One thing we could use a little more help with is afternoon car riders. PLEASE help us try to keep everything running smoothly and everyone safe! Last names that start with A-M should be picked-up between 3:30-3:40. Students with last names N-Z should be picked up from 3:40 - 3:50. At 3:50, we will bring the students left to the office and they can be picked up there.

We are looking forward to a great year working together! We will have our first parent engagement activity coming up on September 14th. We will have Back to School Night from 5:30-7:30. There will be opportunities to see what your children are doing and find out what expectations are. We will also have sign-ups and information for our PTAC (Parent-Teacher Advisory Committee). We need you all to be involved to make this year successful!

Next month, we are having our Pumpkin-Palooza Night. This has been a huge success in the past, and we are looking forward to a night full of fun. I will post details of all upcoming events below.

As a reminder, we will be closed tomorrow (Friday, September 1) and Monday for Labor Day. Please enjoy a great holiday with your family!
