New AR Goals Will Be Set For The Month of February on Wednesday
Please ensure your student is reading for their required 30 minutes a day. We read 15 minutes in class and journal daily. All students should be continuing their reading at home for a minimum of 15 minutes. If they can do more, that would be even better. Thank you for your help with this.
Yearbooks Are Now on Sale

This Week's Learning Objectives
ELA
We will continue to learn reading strategies to help us understand technical and scientific texts.
40 Book Challenge
Students will continue to aim to complete one chapter book a week to stay on target to completing the 40 book challenge.
Imagination Machine Writing
We will continue to work on writing original narrative stories in hopes that one of our stories get chosen for our upcoming Imagination Machine assembly.
We will continue to explore the volume of rectangular prisms.
Social Studies
This week we will complete our unit on our nation's founding fathers. Students will take a test on Thursday.
iReady - Math and Reading Lessons
Students are required to do 45 minutes in each subject every week.
