Summer 2023
Congratulations Roadrunners, we had a very successful 2022-2023 school year! Over the summer, make sure to practice your math facts, work on Lexia for 20 minutes a day, and read a lot of books. However, it is also important to get outside and play, spend time with family and friends, relax, and have fun!
Check our website and your email regularly throughout the summer for messages and updates. Our 2023-2024 calendar is up so you can start adding Glenmeade dates to your calendar. You can also follow Glenmeade on Instagram @glenmeadeelementary and @glenmeadepta.
Our 6th graders had a wonderful promotion, followed by an exciting celebration on the last day of school. Pictures from the promotion ceremony can be found on our website by clicking here. We all wish you luck as you enter 7th grade. Remember, once a Roadrunner, always a Roadrunner!
Thank you for all of the special cards, gifts, hugs, and video messages during the last week of school. Glenmeade is a special place, and I will miss being your principal!!
Sincerely,
Adrienne Chase

Thank you for your support,
PBIS Team
Glenmeade Elementary PBIS Corner
This month’s PBIS focus is, Be Respectful during mealtime. Some suggestions in which students can demonstrate respect at home are:
Following directions the first time
Cleaning up meals and your place
Setting up the table
Practicing manners
Using polite language (yes, please and no thank you, excuse me, etc.)
Following household rules and expectations
The PBIS team recommends utilizing the fillable At Home Behavior Matrix to make expectations clear, following through with the expectations, and reinforcing positive behavior to encourage respect both at home and at school.
We appreciate your ongoing support!
Please find more information regarding PBIS at Glenmeade by visiting our website.
