Michael Jackson: King

Michael is known for being one of the most successful music icons and there is no doubt that he was a muical sensation. Jackson started off with his brothers, Jackson 5, with hits including "I want you back" and "ABC", the Hits were highly successful as they both went straight to number one on the US Billboard Hot 100, the total number of sales, both singles combined, were an astonishing 8,213,065.


Once he had went solo Michael sold an astounding 51-65 million copies for his album, Thriller. He is most known for the songs Billie Jean, Thriller and Smooth Criminal. Michael found inspiration from a various amount of artists such as; Little Richard, Jackie Wilson, Diane Ross, the Bee Gees, and the West Side Story dancers, to whom he made a tribute in the video "Beat It!" also in the "Bad" video.

Thriller

The album Thriller was the sixth album he had released, it was released on the 30th of November 1982 with EPIC records. Once the album had been released it went straight to number one, also his hit single Thriller went straight to number one within weeks of being released additionally it was number one in nine different countries and number four in Switzerland.

Jackson's seventh album was released on September 1st 1987, this album was also with EPIC records. This album went straight to number one in nine different countries and peaked to number two in Australia. There was an astonishing number of sales in the US including 9 million and world wide the album sold a staggering of 30 million copies.

Xscape

Michaels album Xscape was the twelfth album he had released, it was released on the 9th of May 2014. This was an album he was supposed to release before he died however, his record label, EPIC, released in his memory. The album went to number one in three countries, number two in five and went to number three in two. In the US it sold a staggering 435,000.

Beyonce Knowles: Queen

Beyoncé has been known for being a world renowned, R&B music selling artist and one of the most successful women in the R&B industry also she is one of the most iconic feminists. Beyoncé debuted her career as a girl group with Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams, the group was known as Destiny's Child. In 2003 she released her first solo single with spouse Jay Z titled "Crazy In Love" however, she released the soundtrack for the "Austin Powers In Goldmember" in 2002, it peaked at number one in the UK charts.

The album Bday was released on August 31st, 2006 with the record label Sony Urban Music. Beyoncé's latest album was released 13th December, 2013 also with Parkwood Record Label. The Album went straight to number one in the iTunes charts in 5 different countries within days, the countries were the US, UK, Australia, Canada and Ireland. The lowest position on the chart was 11 and that was in Germany. The album went straight to platinum on the amount of sales in a number of different associations. Beyoncé sold 5,000,000 in the World as of 2014, 2,136,000 as of 2014 and 418,000 as of 2014. The album nearly sold half the amount of total sales in America only which implies most her fans are located in America.

Justin Timerlake: Prince

Justin Timberlake is well known for being the lead vocalist in the band NSYNC. The band formed in 1995 and professionally began their career in 1996. They had hit singles including "Bye, Bye, Bye" which is one their most famous single, also their collaboration with Nelly titled, "Girlfriend" ,which was released in 2002.


Justin's debut solo single, "Like I Love You", reached number two in the UK and reached number five in several different countries. Justin Timberlake teamed up with Madonna to produce the number one hit single "4 Minutes" which hit number one in eight different countries and number three in two countries. Justin is a huge success in the pop/R&B music industry because he has four outstanding, distinguished, number one, platinum selling albums.

Justified

Justified was Timberlake's debut solo album which was released with Jive records also it sold a breath-taking 5.7 million copies in the US and UK combined. The album was released on November 22nd 2002 and it reached number one in two or more countries, including the UK and Ireland. The album features "Like I Love You" and "Rock Your Body" which both also reached number one in the US and the UK.

Rihanna: Princess

Robyn Rihanna Fenty (born February 20, 1988), known by her stage name Rihanna is a Barbadian singer, actress, and fashion designer. Born in Saint Michael, Barbados her career began upon meeting record producer Evan Rogers in late 2003 through mutual friends; she recorded demo tapes with his guidance. Her tape was sent to several record labels, and she subsequently signed a contract with Def Jam Recordings after auditioning for its then-president, hip-hop producer and rapper Jay-Z.


Both her debut album, Music Of The Sun (2005) and its follow-up A Girl Like Me (2006) peaked in the top ten on the US Billboard 200; the former featured the commercially successful song "Pon De Replay" while the latter produced her first Billboard Hot 100 number-one single, "SOS".
