Lemoore Elementary Families,

As we welcome in February, we are looking forward to the last half of the school year. It's amazing that the year is more than half over. The month of February also brings Valentine's Day, Presidents Day, and the end of trimester 2 as well as celebrating Black History Month.

Soccer season is in full swing. Trimester 2 will end on February 24th and there will be no school on February 20th for Presidents Day.

Our staff is continuing to focused on academic achievement and student growth. Reading and math scores on the Benchmarks have shown steady growth in grades 3 - 6. We also continue to focus on creating a positive environment that embodies our ROAR expectations of behavior. This month will focus on being ON-TASK.

• As a reminder, PLEASE do not drop off or pick up your child in the middle of the parking lots. This is especially important in the Jefferson lot as the buses are being blocked. If you are pulling into the parking lot, please park your vehicle.
• Please pull to the yellow curb to pick up and drop off students. Students should not be going into the driving lane to get into a vehicle.
• Please make sure to use the marked crosswalks.

This is a reminder that students can not bring flowers or balloons to school to give to others as gifts. Also, the office will not accept any deliveries for Valentine's day. This includes items dropped off by parents or family members.
