Sierra School Scoop

Friday, September 16th is our Sierra School Family Picnic from 5:30-7:00pm. We hope you can join us, and look forward to seeing you there!

As a reminder, students should NOT be dropped off at school BEFORE 8:20AM. We do not have any supervision on campus during that time, and students' safety and well-being is very important. Also, please leave open parking spaces in the front of the school for STAFF PARKING in the morning.

This week we began our reading and math intervention groups, and students are receiving additional academic support when appropriate, and perhaps working with different teachers or paraeducators during the day. This is a wonderful opportunity to differentiate instruction, and meet varying needs across our campus.

El Dorado Community Foundation is providing relief funds for El Dorado County Residents who have been ORDERED to evacuate from the Mosquito Fire. These funds are meant to help with immediate relief needs due to evacuation orders for EDC community members who live in Georgetown & Volcanoville and have been ORDERED to evacuate and are directly impacted by the fire. Please apply to this fund ONLY if you are in dire need of assistance and have been ordered to evacuate.
