Happy Summer Attica CS students and families! This is the first edition of the Red Rambler Updates. We hope to use this tool to help communicate important information and updates to our students, parents, alumni and community.

Deeanna Hutts is retiring as the Corporation Treasurer for Attica CS after an exemplary career serving the students, staff and community of Attica. Deeanna has consistently gone above and beyond to not only make Attica CS a fiscally aligned and responsible school corporation but always putting the interests of the students and staff first while doing so. Deeanna received a Sagamore of Attica Award for her contributions and service to Attica CS and the community of Attica. She will be sorely missed but will still offer her consulting to Attica CS as needed. On behalf of Red Ramblers everywhere we offer our sincere Thanks and Best Wishes.

At the May School Board of Trustees meeting, Attica CS began a new tradition with the introduction of the Sagamore of Attica Award. This is our highest and most prestigious award given to Attica CS staff and community members for their contribution to Attica CS. Previous winners are pictured below and we offer our sincere Thanks for their support and contribution to Attica CS

Steady progress continues on the "new" Attica Elementary coming online for the 2024-25 school year. First layers of the exterior walls are up and concrete pads have been poured. Exterior bricks will begin soon. We appreciate the hard work of the construction crews and the leadership of TECTON construction management.

The Attica CS corporation offices will be closed for the week of July 3rd through the 7th. We wil reopen on Monday July 10th. Summer office hours are 9 am until 2 pm through July 28th.
