I would like to say THANK YOU to all of our wonderful PALS members for making Teacher Appreciation Week a success and celebrating our staff for all they do to help our students grow. The sign, breakfast, lunch and special gifts you provided our staff is truly appreciated!

Looking Ahead...

Building Improvements:

Linden Elementary is in the beginning stages of renovations funded through our recent passing of the Bond. We have broken ground to build a new Media Center on the West side of our building. In addition, teachers and staff are packing their rooms in preparation for new flooring, technology, ceilings and fresh paint. We are really excited to see the progress over the summer and look forward to great start to the 2022-2023 school year.

3rd Grade Farewell:

  • We will have a Clap Out for our 3rd Grade Students on the last day of school in the main parent loop.
  • Students will line up on the south side of the drive and parents who attend will line up on the north side.
  • Time - 11:10-11:20 students and parents line up & 3rd grade begin walking at 11:25.
  • 3rd grade will exit from the gym doors this year and make the loop on the east side of the building due to the construction.


SOAR Like an Eagle Day:

  • SOAR Like and Eagle Day will be on Thursday, May 26th. Each grade level will be assigned a 60 minute rotation with Tug of War at the end of the day. Any parent wanting to attend with their class, will need to communicate with their classroom teacher and have an ICHAT completed one week in advance. Special THANK YOU to PALS for making sure all students receive a t-shirt.

Title One Parent Meeting

  • Our Intervention staff will be holding their annual Title One Parent Meeting on May 18th. Look for an invite from your child's teacher. This is an RSVP event. All RSVP's are due by Friday, May 13th.


Summer School:

  • LCS will be providing Summer School this year. Students will be recommended for the program based on their classroom performance. Classroom and/or intervention teachers will be providing a flyer and registration link to recommended families. Registration deadline is May 27, 2022.
