BACK TO SCHOOL EDITION
Here are all my favorite things you need to try as school starts around our region. Good luck and have a great 22-23 school year!
Tech You Have To Try
Wakelet
It's the first day of school or the beginning of a new unit and you have a syllabus, websites, forms, surveys, documents and more that you wish you could share easily with your class AND have it all in ONE place. If you haven't used Wakelet, it's time to try it out. Wakelet is like a one stop shop to house all sorts of documents. Save, organize and share content from across the web with Wakelet. Save articles, videos, images, Tweets and more, organize them into stunning collections, and share them with your class, parents, or staff. To learn more click here.
Classroom Screen
One of my favorite tools for new teachers or for introducing at the beginning of school is Classroomscreen. Easy to use, tons of features, and all made directly to classroom teachers to make their lives easier. Need a timer, need a random student generator, what about a 12-sided dice, conversation cue cards, a stoplight, a webcam display, play a video, or even a QR code generator all built into one application you can display with whatever beautiful background you want by using one of the premade ones in the program or uploading your own. Start using Classroomscreen today by clicking here. You'll wish you knew about it sooner.
Wheel of Names
I love Wheel of Names. What's more fun than watching our name or topics spin around a colorful wheel that you can completely edit the colors, fonts, and settings? Add music, add confetti, and add a message to the winning selection. You can even share your creation with others with a link and have them utilize it for class projects or assignments. Celebrate students, randomly question students, and pick the prize that week, or the assignment. The possibilities are endless. Start using Wheel of Names by clicking here.
Click & Clean
What's better than starting your school year off with a clean slate? Computer wise that is. Click and clean is a simple and easy-to-use chrome extension that can clean up your URLs, Cache, Cookies, Download, and Browsing History Better yet it does it all instantly, with just 1-click of the Click&Clean button! Start the year off with a clean computer, with more free space and less clutter.
