CHIPS Weekly Update

Touch A Truck will be held CHIPS on Wednesday, May 31st. Thank you to the CHIPS PTO for organizing this fun enrichment!

If your child does not attend CHIPS on Wednesdays but you would like to bring them by to see the trucks, you are welcome to do so. If you do this, we ask that you stay with your child the entire time you are visiting the trucks and that you don't bring siblings or additional children. The times for Touch A Truck are 8:30-10:10AM and 12:10-1:15PM.

It’s hard to believe that the end of the school year is already approaching! Teachers have been busy planning end of the year celebrations with their students, and we are so excited to have you join us for these celebrations! Classrooms will be holding their End of Year Celebrations during the weeks of June 5th and June 12th. Your child’s teacher will let you know when the celebration for your child’s session is scheduled.

Please keep the following in mind to keep our celebrations running smoothly:

• Parking at CHIPS is quite limited. If possible, consider carpooling. You may need to park on one of the neighboring side streets.
• Classrooms are holding their celebrations at various times over the last couple of weeks of school. On some days, multiple celebrations are scheduled. With this in mind, please limit your visit to your child’s scheduled celebration time to help reduce congestion.
• Many parents choose to take their children home with them after the celebration. If you are taking your child home with you, please make sure you let their teacher know. If your child normally rides the bus and will be going home with you after the celebration, please let the bus company know as well.

• May 31- Touch a Truck
• June 14- Last day of school for CHIPS Students

Our CHIPS Little Free Library is such a fun way to help foster a love of reading in our preschoolers! Feel free to stop by with your child and borrow a book! Please remember to return the book when you are finished. :)

If you have books at home that you would like to donate, please put them in the Little Library or send them into CHIPS with your child. Thank you!!

For our families moving on to kindergarten, please see the attached information regarding K physical and vaccine requirements.

Please use our absence line (978-251-5188 Option 0) to report your child's absence from school and be sure to state the reason for the absence (illness, appointment, travel, etc). If your child is out due to illness, please let us know the nature of the illness (fever, vomiting, cough, etc.).

Nurse Kristen can be reached by calling the CHIPS main number (978-251-5188) and selecting option 3.
