As a final reminder and as indicated in Dr. Roy's letter from a few weeks ago, tomorrow (Friday, April 30th) is the deadline to indicate your desire to opt your child out of this year's PSSA exam. If you intend to opt your child out and have yet to send an email, parents/guardians must email either Mr. Horvath at jchorvath@basdschools.org by the end of the day today. If you have already sent an email, there is no need to send a duplicate. Thank you.

Our Kindergarten Welcoming Day is on Monday, May 3rd. Due to the schedule and teacher requirements, the will be no Kindergarten Zooms. Some of our other specialists are also involved. They will be in contact if their Zooms are not occurring.

Just a reminder- as the weather improves and the kids are more active outside, they must have a water bottle to use the drinking fountains. Please send one to school labeled for your student. Thank you!

BASD eNews - April 30, 2021

We ask that parents continue to be socially distant while outside and continue to wear masks. Children should be monitored once dismissed from the building. Students should not be running around unsupervised or knocking on classroom windows. Dismissal for the walkers may take a little longer due to the increased number of students. Depending on the need, we may stagger walkers or dismiss a grade level a few minutes early.

If your child was possibly exposed to or is exhibiting COVID symptoms, please contact our health office staff. They will be in contact with you about the various procedures.
